Fall in Love With Southwinds By Reading Our Key West Hotel Reviews

Small, simple, but comfortable. Loved the breakfast. Hotel bar is very cute, quiet, and fun (not loud- the music is done at 11:00 and we could barely hear it over the AC if in our room). Beach pass includes a lounge chair and towel. Close to Hemingway house and Butterfly museum.

Everyone was so nice. The rooms were clean, and nicely furnished. The price was excellent and I was a block from the ocean. Its very close to Duval street. There was even a small grocery across the street. At night you are next door to the tipsy rooster where you can sit , listen to music and feel the ocean breezes on your face. Just a wonderful trip and the southwinds made it perfect.

My family and I stayed here last week and it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were dated but very clean. For me that is the most important thing. They definitely have that key west by which is cool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Anytime we needed towels or had any questions they were there to help. The three pools were nice too. None of them were really crowded. Our room was near the smallest round pool. We pretty much had it to ourselves, which was nice. The prepackaged muffins, juice and coffee worked well for us because my family doesn’t eat a ton in the morning. Grab and go was perfect! It shares beach access with another resort about a block away. They give you a pass and it gets you a towel and a lounge chair on the beach. It is a really nice beach. My kids played out in the water for hours. There’s also a bar on that beach. The location was perfect as well. About a block and a half off Duval Street, which is the main drag with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. That was a good distance off of the main drag because it was definitely quiet. There are also golf cart and scooter rental places nearby. Having never been here before we were pleasantly surprised with this motel. Don’t let the fact that it has a two star rating dissuade you from staying here. They have great Google ratings for a reason! We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Key West!
