Rooms are small but clean and cozy. Great location and staff was great

I have no complaints. Reasonably priced, great location on other end of duval street. Convenient to cuban coffee place and corner store. Room was big enough and clean. It was an old room that had a window unit type AC, but it was hot and it kept up enough. I would recommend it to budget conscious travelers.

We are only halfway through our stay! So far everything is nice except that the three swimming pools close at dusk! I'm sure that they have their reasons but we were disappointed not to have the option of relaxing and swimming in the evening. The location is great. In a quieter part of town a block off of Duvall Street. It is situated on a corner so sometimes the road traffic can get loud. All in all I would come back here again.

If you're looking for a posh resort hotel, this is probably not for you. But if you're looking for a relatively clean and well-maintained older hotel in an amazing location for a reasonable price then this place is for you. It's not fancy or swanky but is one block from Duval Street and a couple of blocks from the southernmost point landmark. It is in the heart of the southernmost district. There's a bar with nightly live music within stumbling (or crawling) distance from your room and a nice Cuban cafe right across the street (Ana's). The location is awesome. BTW, I see some people complaining about cockroaches. Well, they are called Palmetto Bugs in Florida and they are everywhere. Can't really get rid of them. They eat smaller bugs and don't carry disease so try to ignore them and don't freak out if you see one. It's just part of the Florida experience. Deal with it.

The motel itself was just okay, but I was not expecting a lavish place. It was however the most lively place around us. No other hotel or motel had a party going on outside in the evening like this motel. The bar, store, and ice cream truck kept this place lively and hopping well into the night. I enjoyed the place. It was near Duval Street and had easy access to many places. Parking was easy.
