Terrific place! Rooms are ...

Terrific place! Rooms are spotless w/fridge, micro & coffee. Dedicated parking and bar out front. We could walk to almost everything and if it wasn't walking distance staff had a cab waiting.

Can't say enough great ...

Can't say enough great things about Southwinds Motel. What a refreshing surprise to check into this motel to find a spotless room, decoratively folded towels, toilet paper, tissue, etc all showing great pride in the place. Hugh compliments to the housekeeping staff. The Front desk was staffed by friendly, helpful, and compassionate people. Great job. The facilities, two pools, ice cream on shop, liquor store, and the best thing ever, the Tipsy Rooster, the bar on grounds. The bartender and nightly entertainment were worth the entire cost of the stay. If I could suggest one thing to change, I would say NOTHING. I'll be back. Thomas

I was very impressed ...

I was very impressed with the quality of our room and the excellent location for such a good price! Our room was huge and much cleaner and more updated than other motels and Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. We kept our car parked here and walked up & down Duval Street many times. Breakfast in the morning is basic continental, but was plenty when dealing with a hangover after a night out on Duval.
