Reasonablly priced for KW. ...

Reasonablly priced for KW. Not fancy but it was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can get a ticket that will allow free use of the small, but very pleasant beach (chairs included) at the more expensive hotel which has a bar, restaurant and clean restrooms. Other guests were quiet and considerate, however, the bar next door has live music until 11pm. Didn't bother me, but just sayin'. Also, much quieter than any place on Duvall street.

I loved my experience ...

I loved my experience here. Stayed in late October, and it was excellent. Room AC worked well, ran all night, so the white noise was nice. The room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is outstanding. An easy walk to some of the areas best sites. Bathroom had only a standing shower and was tiny but it was impeccably clean. The reception staff was friendly. The little bar at the end , the Tipsy Rooster was fun to visit. The sandwich shop across the street was good as well! I can't wait to come back. (Maybe *after* fantasyfest this time...)

We are only halfway ...

We are only halfway through our stay! So far everything is nice except that the three swimming pools close at dusk! I'm sure that they have their reasons but we were disappointed not to have the option of relaxing and swimming in the evening. The location is great. In a quieter part of town a block off of Duvall Street. It is situated on a corner so sometimes the road traffic can get loud. All in all I would come back here again.
