Fall in Love With Southwinds By Reading Our Key West Hotel Reviews

We stayed here on the recommendation from a friend. This is a no frills small motel located in old town on the southern end of the island. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cold continental breakfast each morning in the lobby was a plus too. There is 2 pools on the property and neither one of them was ever full when we went. An added bonus is the Tipsy Rooster bar and liquor store is attached to the motel. There was live music everyday starting in the early afternoon. We will definitely be staying at the South Winds on our next trip to Key West.

The motel has a good location, it is kind of run down though, but we did not stay that long in the room, so it was ok.

The room is small but I didn't come to Key West to stay in the room all day. It's one street over from Duvall. Perfect location and the office staff is very helpful.

Just finished my stay here and had a great experience. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Great location to walk to everything.

I booked this place after reading reviews on the Booking app then I read reviews on other sites which made me think I made a mistake. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights and we could not of been happier. We had a room in the back away from the hussle and bussle and still only a few short steps to be part of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast is exactly what they advertise grab and go. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable .The little bar in the front was great, relaxed atmosphere with a good bartender ( you have to try Tim's spicy bloody Mary). There is a Cuban deli right across the street that is very good for a full breakfast or lunch. Overall we will definitely stay there again.
