We stayed at Southwinds ...

We stayed at Southwinds for 2 nights. The location was perfect. Off the craziness of Duval Street but still close enough to everything to where the walk isn’t bad. We had a King room right off of Simonton street. It was fun to sit out on the porch and people watch, or hear the band playing at night. Small little updates could be done in the room but overall we had a wonderful stay.

This is an old ...

This is an old Key West motel. Pretty well kept up but old. Three swimming pools, one is heated. Parking was a problem depending on where your room was as there were several parking areas. We had to move our car twice after someone had moved their car so we could park near our room. The motel is one block over from the quiet end of Duval street.

This is an old Key West motel. Pretty well kept up but old. Three swimming pools, one is heated. Parking was a problem depending on where your room was as there were several parking areas. Nice little motel/hotel close ...

Nice little motel/hotel close to Duvall, and the Southernmost point marker. Rooms are smaller, but, you're on vacation out enjoying the area most of the day. Beds were clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly, pool area was clean and quiet. Microwave and fridge in the room also. Small room and bath is the only reason I didn't go 5 stars, so if that doesn't bother you, this is perfect (doesn't bother me one bit, because my room on a tropical island is to sleep and shower, that's it! I just want clean and comfortable, and southwinds passes that test) Lots of places to eat, and things to do within blocks. Hotel has scooters to rent, $10 an hr or $45 a day via an app on your phone, very convenient. Golf cart rentals are also a block away, or there are Uber and pedal cab options. If you are looking for a great deal on a Key West vacation, Southwinds will not disappoint

Great service and friendly. ...

Great service and friendly. Free laundry and parking. Good location. The beds were not great but overall otherwise excellent.
