Rooms are small, but have AC and everything you need. I was surprised on how quiet it was. Sits off the beaten path, but allows you to get rowdy at the Tipsy Rooster. Pools were, nice, ice machine, Tipsy Rooster, and Ana's Cuban Cafe across the street! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this Motel for three nights. It is right next to a full-service bar with live music and a liquor store. A short walk across the street you can have delicious Cuban sandwiches and can actually see the ocean at the end of the Street. The staff was fantastic. It is close enough to the action that you can be a part of it yet far enough a way that it doesn't follow you to bed. My only complaint would be that not all rooms have some seating outside the door. Luckily ours did and the group that we were with were able to congregate at our room before we started our day. This will be the first place I look for lodging the next time we visit Key West.

Nice little spot close to all of the attractions. If you plan on drinking late at night the hotel is not too far of a walk.

If you're looking for a posh resort hotel, this is probably not for you. But if you're looking for a relatively clean and well-maintained older hotel in an amazing location for a reasonable price then this place is for you. It's not fancy or swanky but is one block from Duval Street and a couple of blocks from the southernmost point landmark. It is in the heart of the southernmost district. There's a bar with nightly live music within stumbling (or crawling) distance from your room and a nice Cuban cafe right across the street (Ana's). The location is awesome. BTW, I see some people complaining about cockroaches. Well, they are called Palmetto Bugs in Florida and they are everywhere. Can't really get rid of them. They eat smaller bugs and don't carry disease so try to ignore them and don't freak out if you see one. It's just part of the Florida experience. Deal with it.
