Back In Time: Cruise to the 40s: Get "decked" out in your best frock or dinner jacket, gussy up that uniform or swing dress, break out those zoot and victory suits. Cruise Back in Time to the 1940s aboard the luxurious SS KWAHS for the Society's annual fundraiser benefiting the Custom House Museum. Passengers are welcome aboard on Wednesday, December 5 for cocktails at the Custom House Museum from 5:00PM-6:30PM followed by Dinner, music and dancing with a special live performance by Southernmost Brass Band at the Margaritaville Resort & Marina. Special awards for best dressed so plan accordingly! The evening will honor the 2018 Scotti Merrill Preservation Award recipient Brewster Chamberlin for his literary contributions and service in preserving Florida Keys history. The Society, founded in 1949, opened the Custom House as Key West's premier museum in 1999 afer a 9 year, $9 million restoration project.
